Introducing Belinda Mostert – QLD State Manager
My name’s Belinda, I’m 34 years old, married to Corey and mum to 3 kids (Chelsea 14, Jordyn 5 and Preston 2.5) and 2 ginger cats (Skittles and Whiskey). I work from home doing a number of different things, I’m an Independent Bridal Consultant selling custom made wedding and formal dresses, I’m an Independent Phoenix Trader, I’m a Plexus Ambassador and I’m also a Younique Presenter. As well as now being an Area Manager for this fantastic cause. Life gets hectic but hey, that’s half the fun of it.
I decided to jump on board with Angel Gowns for Australian Angel Babies after seeing an advertisement pop up in my newsfeed looking for volunteers. I can’t sew or knit to save myself but the Area Manager role suits me perfectly I’m honoured to be a member of this fantastic organisation and to be working with the other volunteers to get the Angel Gowns to those that need them most.
Hi my name is Kylie Aplin and I’m the State Manager for South Australia. I live in Trafalgar Victoria, and I’m married with 3 beautiful children and 2 beautiful step children. I enjoy cross stitching, cooking, tenpin bowling and spending time with my family and friends.
TAS State Manager
Treasurer and ACT State Manager
I retired from Public Service 6 years ago after working in a legal Department for 27 years which included working in the Ministers office for some of that time. I was one of the first seamstresses with Angels and now a board member and the Information Officer for the volunteers. Retirement would be boring without sewing as part of my days.
I was born in Ballarat and father was in Air Force so we lived in a few places when I was younger. Have lived in Canberra 54 years and did Nursing training when I left school for 3 years.
I have always loved sewing and doing craft things and I am totally addicted to making gowns. I also make 5 inch teddy bears that go in some packs that families receive.
I love cooking and being around people but enjoy my time sewing and creating from the beautiful gowns that are donated. I look forward to more times with the Angels organisation and the ladies I have met.
